ContinuuMini and Logic Pro X

Even if I turn local off on the
ContinuuMini I have not found out an elegant way of avoiding a midi loop error message when trying to play it and recording midi data into Logic Pro X so I have figured out a way to fix this problem.
I am writing this mostly for myself, in order to remember how to solve this problem in the future, but maybe someone else will find it useful too.
The ContinuuMini is connected to the sequencer input in local ON mode.
I create two instruments in Logic’s Environment page: “ContinuuMidiRecording” having its midi output off and “ContinuuMidiPlayback” sending midi data to the ContinuuMini.

I assign the two instruments to two tracks. I record midi data on the “ContinuuMidiRecording” track. I hear what I am doing because the ContinuuMini is in “local on” mode so it does not need incoming midi data in order to play back but at the same time midi data is recorded by the sequencer.

Then I take the recorded midi data and move it on the “ContinuuMidiPlayback” track
WITHOUT SELECTING THAT TRACK in order to play or edit it.

It’s a workaround but it works for me!
