I was studying
Softube Modular when I heard something interesting that immediately made me derail what I was doing. I entered that timeless, creative state of mind that I like so much and stayed there for a long time as a child playing with his toys: drum loops, sound effects, gargling synthesizers and so on.
It looks like I was in a childish mood and I chose not to repress it. I let it go to see where it was going to bring me. I felt like creating something that would make a child smile and giggle. While assembling the piece I noticed I was like dancing on my chair so I thought it would be fun to record a video of myself mimicking those sound effects.
Beyond the ridiculous effect of it there is a deeper meaning for me, a psychotherapeutic one. The affirmation of who I really am, madness and childish behaviors included, without fear of being judged. Because, as Shakespeare wrote:
"
Sorrow concealed, like an oven stopp'd,
Doth burn the heart to cinders where it is."

Stavo studiando
Perché come scrisse Shakespeare:
"
Un dolore nascosto, come un forno intasato,
incenerisce il cuore in cui si annida.
"
